I recently had the opportunity to converse with several briefing experts regarding the trend toward mobile “video conferencing” applications. While all of these applications provide a way to seamlessly and instantly connect with others, the message of the conversation can often be compromised by the newness of the technology. As with any conversation, face to face or via a video conference, remember to try to mitigate the surrounding distractions and focus on the intent of the conversation. You will notice when the distractions are eliminated the hardest part of the conversation begins.
