Throughout this past year, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with the Irish music duo Claddagh. Claddagh’s song list of Irish classics, American folk songs and a few contemporary rocks classic blend together as musicians Kieran and Gary, delight their audience with songs and stories from their native county of Ireland. As the evening set list unfolds, a call to the audience to “join us on-stage” reveal revelers to who sometimes sing in harmony and sometimes they
don’t. Regardless, the audience responds with a standing ovation or a roar of laughter.
Sometimes, the dual includes Kieran and David, who will occasionally include Jeanie or Andrea who add their percussion, keyboard and vocal talents to the group.
Come join us, typically on Friday evenings in Richardson at Gillespie’s @ the Shire or in North Dallas at the Irishman.
